Project year: 2016
Project location: Perth WA
Project client: City of Perth and the Perth Public Art Foundation
The CowParade PERTH in 2016 saw 40 sculptural cows by West Australian visual artists and designers transform the streets, malls, parks, buildings and precincts of Perth City from 31 October to 11 December 2016.
Presented by the City of Perth and the Perth Public Art Foundation, we were honoured to be a part of this internationally renowned event. Our cow sculpture, Luxury Lady, embodies the signature geometric and angular style that is synonymous with the Alister Yiap brand. Cows were auctioned off for charity at the 2016 Lexus Ball and Luxury Lady was acquired by Lexus.
Following the conclusion of CowParade PERTH, each of the cows were gifted to a range of Telethon beneficiaries including; the Perth Children’s Hospital, RedKite, Ngala, Parkerville Child and Youth Care, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Telethon Adventurers, Camp Quality, Youth Focus, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Inclusion WA and Foodbank.
